What makes Welter Entertainment, LLC unique from all of the other DJ companies?
Welter Entertainment, LLC offers online planning tools that will allow you to communicate the details of your event. Welter Entertainment’s attention to detail allows us to make sure nothing is missed and your entertainment is performed to perfection. We will also strive to play all your requests but at the same time play music which will keep all your guests dances and having a good time.
Do you provide music and equipment for wedding ceremonies?
Welter Entertainment, LLC does provide ceremony music and equipment. Please call for pricing and availability prior to your event.
How long will our DJ play music?
The amount of time your DJ will play is totally up to you. Typically Wedding entertainment lasts four hours. You can decide in advance how long you want your DJ to perform and the price will reflect the time frame. If you are having fun and want the DJ to play longer you can purchase additional time the day of the event.
Is it customary to tip the DJ?
Gratuities given to your DJ entertainer are made at the client’s sole discretion. 10 percent to 20 percent of the total fee is customary for an excellent performance.
How early will our DJ arrive to set up?
Welter Entertainment will be set up entirely before your guests arrive at the reception. It takes about an hour to set up and typically about an half hour to tear down.
What is your Wedding DJ coverage area?
I am located in Stewartville, MN and travel up to 100 miles.
Can we pick what music to play?
Yes, you can pick what music to play. Simply submit a list of songs in advance through our online form and we will play them. This gives us an idea of your musical tastes. We print the requests and bring them with us and play them.
Will our DJ take guest requests?
Absolutely! We’ll also encourage your guests to make requests (if you approve) to make sure we play the songs that you and your guests want to dance to.
How do you handle overtime?
If you are having fun and want your Wedding DJ to play longer, we would love to continue our performance. You can purchase additional time by paying overtime at the beginning of the hour. All overtime is purchased on an half hour basis and the cost for overtime is outlined in your contract. Overtime must be paid via cash or check prior to the DJ continuing their performance.
Do you provide a written contract?
Welter Entertainment, LLC will provide you with a written contract outlining the terms of your service. We will email you a contract for you to digitally sign or print out and sign. You then mail the contract along with the deposit to the address on the contract. It is important to have a contract to guarantee your DJ services. I would never suggest booking any DJ service with out a written contract.
Will you be available to answer DJ questions prior to our Wedding?
Yes. You can call, text, or email as many times as you like I am always available.
What type of music do you play?
Welter Entertainment, LLC has an extensive selection of music. We have everything from the 1940’s to today’s top 40, so there is something for all age groups. Welter Entertainment will discuss with you in advance what types of music you want played during your event and we will play those types of music.
Can you provide wireless microphones for the wedding ceremony, toasts etc?
Yes we can provide a wireless microphone to be used during the ceremony and reception. I also have one wired microphone that I keep as a back up.
Do you have back ups for your equipment?
Our equipment is extremely reliable. We do have a full back up plan for each piece of equipment in case something does go wrong so we can play your wedding without fail. That includes a back up music library that will contain all of your special songs and wedding favorites.
How do we book your DJ services?

If everything looks good to you, just click Book Online and a contract will be emailed to you. Go to your email and open the email from Welter Entertainment with the subject line “Contract for Services”, print the attachment. Sign the bottom and mail it to the address on the contract along with the deposit. Once the contract and the deposit are received, your date will be reserved. Welter Entertainment books on a first come first serve basis. The first contract we receive for the date with a deposit check will get the date. The deposit must be included with the signed contract. If a deposit is made the balance is due BEFORE the Wedding reception starts.
